Using a UTF16 to String Converter in Cross-browser Testing
A UTF16 to string converter can be useful if you're doing cross-browser testing. While UTF16 is not a very popular encoding, it's still often used in browsers, databases, and various file formats. If you need to support this encoding in your application, then with this utility, you can create quick test sets for your UTF16 test cases. For example, you can create data for the input and output cases of your unit tests. The input would be a UTF16 (or UTC2) sequence and the output would be an ASCII or Unicode string, or a paragraph of longer text. Additonally, you can use this utility to decode JavaScript Unicode escape sequences.
